Moore Jr. talked about why he decided to give his verbal commitment to the Huskies.
"Everything on my official visit went really well, and I just felt very comfortable at NIU. I really like the coaches and the players at Northern Illinois. The coaches are very straight-forward and honest, and they have been that way during my recruiting process. I also got the feeling from the players that NIU really has a family atmosphere, and the players are really tight as a group."
"I was able to get a great feel for NIU on my visit, and I was also able to get some answers on some of the questions I had about the school and the football program. NIU offers a great business program, and I'm planning to major in business so academically NIU is also a great fit. I also liked the campus and the facilities, and NIU just felt like the place for me."
