Chicago or Lubbock Texas DE decides

The Woodlands, Texas defensive end Kevin Mims has thought quite a while about his college choice. But on Sunday, he pulled the trigger.
“I am going to Northwestern,” the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Mims said. “It was between the two, Northwestern and Texas Tech. Northwestern was running out of scholarships and I had to make my choice.

“I looked the options and basically the school and everything was what I wanted,” the three-star rated defensive end said. “The bio-medical school is one of the best in the country. Then I looked at Chicago versus Lubbock. A few deciding factors like that. I finally was like ‘Go for it.’”
“I called the coaches at Northwestern and they were pretty excited. I’m glad to have the decision made. We are going to send Texas Tech a note and then visit with them more when they call again.”
