Chicago lineman ready for more visits

Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park junior offensive line prospect Ramone Johnson (6-foot-4, 310 pounds) has remained on several colleges hot list this spring, and Johnson talks about his latest suitors as well as his latest spring travel plans.
"I've been getting a ton of mail over the last few weeks," Johnson said. "Not to sound cocky at all, but I still have some mail that I just haven't been able to open up and read just yet. I've been getting some hand-written mail recently from Georgia Tech, North Carolina and a lot of hand-written mail from the Big Ten schools."
Johnson is also planning to make a second unofficial visit to the University of Illinois this Saturday.
"I'm going to head down to Illinois this Saturday with my parents. I want them to take a look at the campus and the facilities, and I also want them to get to know the coaches at Illinois. My family is definitely going to be involved in helping me make my final college decision, so I want them to also see some of the schools that I'm looking at and considering."
Johnson is also hoping to check out a handful of schools over the next few weeks.
"I definitely want to get out to Michigan and check out what they have to offer. I'm going to most likely miss spring ball but I want to check out Ann Arbor soon. I'm also going to make an unofficial visit to Wisconsin soon. I have family in Madison, so it will be good to see what Wisconsin has to offer plus getting a chance to visit with some of my relatives. Some of my teammates headed out last weekend to both NIU and Purdue, and I definitely want to see both of those schools soon."
