Chibane claims a favorite

Offensive tackle Zack Chibane out of Paramus, N.J. took an unofficial visit not too long ago. The 6-foot-4, 264-pounder plans to take more visits in the future before deciding.
"I actually took an unofficial to South Florida in the last couple weeks," he stated. "My grandma lives down there and I got to tour the school and watch film with the offensive line coach.

"I really liked it. I was impressed. I liked the campus and the college feel. The facilities are really nice. They just switched to Under Armor and they had all the prototype shoes."
Chibane met with the coaches as well.
"I talked to Coach Levitt and watched film with the offensive line coach," he said. "They definitely are my favorite now. I came out really impressed."
The two-star prospect confirmed he isn't ready to make a decision yet.
"I have offers from South Florida, Temple and a verbal from Bryant," he said. "I think some I-A schools will offer this fall.
"Connecticut, Syracuse, Northwestern and Pittsburgh are talking to me. Most of them are telling me to wait until the season and they'll get back to me."
Chibane confirmed he'd like to take an official to South Florida this fall, but no date has been set up.
Chibane and Paramus open the season on September 12th.
