LANHAM, Md. - The second annual Chesapeake Bowl will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Edgewater, Md., at South River High School. The North squad is comprised primarily of players from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while the South team features prospects from Maryland and the Washington D.C. area. An interesting position matchup to watch will be the North offensive line against the South defensive line.
North offensive line: Adam DiPietro (Lancaster, Pa.), Sean Henigin (Bridgeton, N.J.), Connor Mahoney (Malvern, Pa.), Michael Mooney (Malvern, Pa.), Jack Willenbrock (Exton, Pa.)
South defensive line: Roman Braglio (Owings Mills, Md.), Roderick Chungong (Olney, Md.), Justin Lee (Fulton, Md.), Ryan Watson (Olney, Md.), Nigel Williams (Richmond, Va.)
The story of both of these line groups is depth. The North offensive line has a half dozen prospects committed to BCS programs while the South defensive line is littered with prospects who will be playing for BCS programs next fall as well. Beyond that, it appears to be a battle of strength and size between these two line groups. The South will bring Braglio (6-4, 260 pounds), Chungong (6-3, 250) and Williams (6-3, 260) off the edge, and the North will counter with an offensive tackle group headlined by DePietro (6-5, 270) and Henigin (6-7, 335).

Click After watching the first day of practice we also were impressed with the speed of the South's defensive ends. At 260 pounds, Williams has a nice burst and will be able to put pressure on the quarterback. They usually line up Braglio opposite Williams, making for a potent pair of pass rushing defensive ends. Add in Ryan Watson coming up the middle from the three-technique position, and the North offensive line will have its hands full when that group platoons in. However, Henigin is such a huge body that he is difficult to get around and DePietro is probably the soundest offensive lineman fundamentally in this game.
