Signed with: Texas A&M

Since Signing Day: Allen got off to a promising start at Texas A&M, winning the starting job as a freshman but surrendering it shortly thereafter. After a couple up-and-down years under former head coach Kevin Sumlin, Allen decided to transfer to Houston but failed to win the starting job as a Cougar.

In a move that shocked some, Allen decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the upcoming NFL draft. He was not invited to the NFL combine and mock drafts differ when it comes to predicting whether or not he’ll be selected.

Signed with: Clemson

Since Signing Day: Things have gone incredibly well for Watson. The former five-star prospect won a national title, garnered All-American honors, won the Davey O’Brien Award twice and even took home an ESPY for Best Male College Athlete. Watson thrived in his three seasons at Clemson and was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was off to an incredible start as a rookie with the Houston Texans a year ago before an injury derailed his season. Watson remains on the roster and will be the team’s starter during the upcoming campaign.

Signed with: Florida

Since Signing Day: Grier found playing time as a redshirt freshman at Florida but was suspended in 2015 after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. Ultimately, he transferred to West Virginia, where he debuted last season. In his first year at WVU, Grier captured Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors while leading the Mountaineers to a 7-6 record. A senior-to-be, Grier is expected to continue as West Virginia’s starter in the season ahead.

Signed with: Stanford

Since Signing Day: Now a graduate transfer at Tennessee, Chryst’s Stanford career was uneven at best. As a redshirt freshman, he took over the starting job mid-season and began his sophomore campaign entrenched in the role. He remained the team’s starter until losing the job to freshman K.J. Costello midway through the 2017 season. Chryst is currently part of a quarterback competition at Tennessee.

Singed with: Florida

Since Signing Day: As a freshman, Harris took over for benched starter Jeff Driskel in a game against Tennessee and knocked off Georgia in his first start. Things never progressed from there, however, as he lost the starting job to Will Grier early in his sophomore year. He was suspended from the program following the season as part of a sexual assault scandal and eventually left the program and landed at FCS Tennessee State. In his first season as a Tiger, Harris started a handful of games before surrendering the starting job. He will embark on his final season of college football this year and is in the process of transitioning to wide receiver.
