"My last visit will be to Colorado or LSU," Cheathem said. "I still haven't decided yet. Both are great schools and I like both staffs a lot. Unfortunately, I'll have more time to think about it now since we lost in the 1st round of the playoffs last Friday."
Breaking down his visits, Cheathem said he enjoyed all four but added two schools stand out right now.
"Michigan and Oregon State are tied at the top," Cheathem said. "Michigan was an incredible experience. The tradition and the passion the fans have is amazing. I'm really close to Ron English (UM DB coach) and they were one of the first schools to offer me.
"Oregon State was a lot of fun too because it was a real fun environment and I was there with two of my teammates, Eugene Germany and Paul Thomas. That's the one school recruiting all three of us and we have talked about wanting to play college ball together as long as we've known each other. Plus I think I could play early at Oregon State and the program is going in the right direction under Coach Riley.
"Once my last visit is done, then I'll sit down and try and figure out where the best place for me is. I don't think I can make a bad choice among the schools I'm looking at right now."
