Charlotte DE is getting interest
Interest is coming for Charlotte (N.C.) South Mecklenburg defensive end Brack Barnes. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder is getting looks from a few schools already.
"I moved from middle linebacker to defensive end," he said. "I had an alright year. I had 4.5 sacks.

"I think I'm a leader on the team. I have good leadership skills. I want to improve my speed and get a lot faster and bigger."
Also a wrestler, Barnes has placed third in the conference.
On the recruiting front, interest is picking up.
"I got some letters from NC State," he said. "I'm trying to get in contact with California and Virginia Tech. Someone I know, knows Bud Foster.
"I've also been to a few colleges in the past including North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia Southern."
Does Barnes like anybody?
"I really like LSU, if I could that would be a miracle," he said. "I kind of grew up with Virginia Tech. My uncle is a Virginia Tech nut."
