Cornerback Josh Hunter out of Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek is up to five offers. The 6-foot-2, 172-pounder added three more in the past few weeks including one from the SEC.
"I've picked up three more offers from South Carolina, Marshall and East Carolina," he said. "I already had ones from Duke and Wake Forest.
"I'm just excited about the chance to be getting all of these offers. I've got to weigh them out and see what comes up. It's pretty close right now, all of them have good academics and athletics."
Hunter is beginning to look into visits this summer.
"I'm trying to visit all of the schools that have offered me to get a better picture," he said. "I'm also looking at making it to Clemson and Georgia. I'm thinking possibly about going to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech too."
Although he grew up a fan of Georgia and Clemson, Hunter claims that isn't a factor in his decision.
"I was a pretty big fan of those, but it's not really a big thing. I just have to sit back and look at all the colleges."
The North Carolina prospect is keeping busy running track.
"I just ran a meet this past weekend and finished second in the 4x1 and third in the 4x2."
