Charlotte ATH Davis pulls two offers

Charlotte (N.C.) Phillip Berry Academy of Technology athlete Kedrick Davis pulled his first two offers on Friday. The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder landed scholarships from both the ACC and the MAC.
"I have an offer from Duke and an offer from Ball State," he said. "I got both of them on Friday actually.

"I'm just really excited about it. I've been on five visits to Duke already and I'm just honored to pretty much get these offers after playing my first year of varsity football. I'm thankful for that and excited."
Davis' latest visit to Duke was on Friday to nab the offer.
"I know a lot about Duke," he said. "I've been up there a lot and the main thing I'm looking at with them is they are rebuilding a lot. Coach Cutcliffe has not been there long and he keeps improving things, they've got new facilities and are close to home, so that's good. I would fit in a lot cause they run a lot of spread and need fast receivers.
"For Ball State, I know they've got the coaches from Elon. They've been sending a lot of mail, but that's about all I know."
Of course, more schools are interested in the versatile prospect.
"I'm starting to hear from Tennessee, North Carolina, NC State, Auburn, Harvard, Stanford a lot and East Carolina," he said. "I think East Carolina is in the process of offering me as a defensive back."
One more visit is set for Davis this spring, a trip to Chapel Hill this Saturday for their spring game.
Davis is also starting to look ahead to camps this summer and claims plans to go to Duke and North Carolina so far.
