Charles looking to make own mark

Taurean Charles is a man on a mission this football season. He wants four sacks a game, and he wants to break some records.
With 30 sacks Charles will break Miami Northwestern’s sack record currently held by his head coach (Roland Smith), and if he reaches his goal of 40 sacks he will break the Florida record set by former top recruit Willie Jones.

“Right now I have 8 ½ sacks and with our defense shutting teams down I will get some more opportunities to rush the passer,” Charles said.
His play on the field has made Charles one of the most highly touted linebackers in Florida.
Recently he has received offers from Nebraska and Kentucky to go along with the ones he has from Oklahoma, North Carolina State, Rutgers, and Auburn.
Charles has yet to pick a leader out of these teams but he has set up official visits with North Carolina State (December 14), Rutgers (January 18), and Oklahoma some time in January.
