The 5-foot-11, 180-pound receiver has Michigan State and Illinois regarded as two of his top schools, but he says there will be more than just football on his mind when he makes a college choice.
"If Michigan State and Illinois offered me, I would really have to put a lot of thought into it." he said. "Because all three places, including Bowling Green, offer a good education. My major would make play a key role on where I go."
Chappell is going to be a sports psychology major.
"I haven't really looked into it yet at any of the schools." Chappell said. "But, I did talk to this lady that went to Illinois and she was getting her masters in Sports Psychology, and she already had some job offers without even graduating."
With football season growing ever closer Chappell is starting to get ready for this season and is looking forward to a few key games as he enters his senior season.
"I am looking forward to all of the games this year." Chappell said. "I think Shaker sticks out to me the most to me because I live in Shaker, but I go to University. So it's like my rivalry school because of where I live."
Chappell also has a little bit of revenge in mind this season.
"The St. Mary game should be fun," Chappell said. "They have a good team and we lost to them last year because we couldn't get our offense going. So I think I have something to prove this year."
