"I have quite a few offers. Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Mexico State. And quite a few schools in the MAC. And I'm waiting on West Virginia and Michigan State to see what they're going to do.
"Right now it's looking like it's between Wisconsin, Purdue, West Virginia, and Michigan State.
"Then if I pick-up some offers in the season, I'll have to consider them too. There's no leader right now.
"I'm going to West Virginia July 28. I went to Wisconsin and Purdue on the camp tour. And hopefully Michigan State will be an official visit."
The 5-foot-9 and 171 pound Chappel has been a varsity player since his freshman year. He intercepted two passes and broke-up 13 during his junior season. Chappel is the No. 18 prospect in the state of Ohio in the Rivals.com player rankings.
