"Wisconsin has a lot to offer in their academic programs. And I like the football tradition. The past players from my school had success there, so why not me?"
"The Wisconsin coaches are down to earth. They treated me fair."
The 6-foot-4 and 260 pounder from Bedford, Ohio is one of the top defensive end/tight end prospects in the Buckeye state. Chapman made 51 tackles including 13 behind the line during his senior season. He had eight sacks and caused three fumbles. Chapman will play on defense for Wisconsin.
Chapman is from the same high school as former Badger Chris Chambers and current Wisconsin star Lee Evans. Chapman has a 3.0 GPA and he scored a 19 on the ACT.
