Keyser, West Virginia linebacker Taige Redman was scheduled to take an official visit to Ohio over the weekend but at the last minute there was a change of plans.
The 6-foot, 201-pound prospect did not make his trip to see the Bobcats' game, but he did check out the school that is currently at the top of his list.
"I didn't end up going to Ohio," Redman said. "The clearinghouse registration thing didn't go through. I think it's gone through now, but it was too late for me to make the trip. I should be good to go from here on out, though.
"I was actually at West Virginia last night for their game. I had a really good time there. I've been there a couple of times and I really like what I see. I talked to all their coaches yesterday and almost all of them know me by name. Coach (Jeff) Casteel is probably the one that I'm closest to."
Redman does plan on setting up more trips in the future, now that he should be good to go with the NCAA.
"I plan on going to Marshall sometime soon, probably after my football season is over," he said. "I'd still like to go to Ohio sometime too. It will probably be sometime in January or around them.
"I'm still just looking at three schools right now. It's between West Virginia, Marshall and Ohio. Right now West Virginia has the edge but I think I'm going to wait it out a little while."
