Yesterday Williamsburg (Va.) Lafayette three-star defensive end Will Hill said he was planning on announcing his college destination on Wednesday.
Just one day later his plans have changed, but not drastically. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound lineman plans on waiting a couple of extra days before going public with his decision.
"Actually I think I'm going to make it public on Friday now," Hill said in an interview on Tuesday evening. "As of right now I think there's going to be a press conference at the school. I'm not sure what time it will be, but I believe it will be Friday."
Hill had said he was going to sit down with his family over the Thanksgiving holiday to try to sort through things.
While he said his four finalists are still the same -- Maryland, Penn State, Tennessee and Virginia -- he is declining to acknowledge whether or not he has already made up his mind.
"I can't really tell you that right now," he said.
If Hill has made a decision he has not told any of the coaches recruiting him yet.
Hill, rated the No. 24 prospect in Virginia and the No. 33 strongside defensive end in the nation, has taken official visits to Tennessee, Penn State and Maryland over the course of the recruiting process. He has had plenty of opportunities to check out the in-state Cavaliers.
