Change of plans for Andrew Johnson

Pittsburgh (Pa.) North Hills running back Andrew Johnson was scheduled to visit UCLA this weekend despite being committed to Pittsburgh. Did he make the trip?

"No, I didn't go and I don't think I'll make it out there," said the 6-foot-0, 205-pounder. "I had some personal and family stuff come up so I couldn't make it. I'm still going to Ohio State next weekend, which will be on Sunday and Monday (Jan. 18 and 19) and I think I'm going to Florida now. That will be later in the month, I'm not sure when."

Johnson, still a soft commitment to Pitt, will take his Ohio State visit with friend and fellow recruit James Bryant.

"We want to take a look together," he said. "Like I said before, if James commits to Pitt then I won't look anywhere else. We'd like to play somewhere together."
