Champs offer DE Jones
Delvin Jones is one of the top prospects from South Florida. Jones, 6-6 and 230 pounds, is from Miami (Fla.) Palmetto High School. He has recently picked up some big offers. Today was no different, as the National Champion Gators offered him.
"I came home from school and checked the mail," Jones said. "Florida mailed me the offer letter. I like them a lot. I went up there to watch to their game against the Citadel. I like the atmosphere. They like me as defensive end and athlete."

Southern Cal, Tennessee, Michigan and Ole Miss have also offered Jones. Right now, the Trojans are his team to beat.
"USC leads but everyone is in the mix. I plan to get out there soon. There's something about the Trojans. They produce so much talent. It's a very intriguing school to me."
Another intriguing school to Jones is Ohio State and he plans on visiting the Buckeyes soon.
"I am going to the Ohio State spring game. They have not offered yet but they are definitely in the mix."
Last season Jones recorded 70 tackles and 20 sacks for Miami (Fla.) LaSalle High School.
