Chambless has two at the top

Corpus Christi (Texas) Calallen quarterback Jordan Chambless has had Houston at the top of his list for a long time. Now, another school has joined the Cougars atop the list.
“I still like Houston a lot,” the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Chambless said. “But, I’m also starting to look at TCU quite a bit.”

The Horned Frogs are new to the picture for the three-star rated signal caller.
“TCU is a very good program,” he said. “They have things going in the right direction and it would be a good team to join. They have several quarterbacks on the roster, but that is a sign that the team has talent and is always looking to get better. If they didn’t have any depth, it could be a bad situation soon.
“I still like Houston, too. They have been there all along. They have told me I could play baseball too. That is a big deal for me. That is something I would like to do.”
Chambless has yet to line up official visits to any schools.
“I don’t have any visits lined up,” he said. “I’ll probably work on that when our season ends.”
Chambless also has scholarship offers from Kansas and Rice.
