Chambers holds multiple offers

Several scholarship offers are in for Saint Cloud (Fla.) Harmony wide receiver O'Neil Chambers, including one from a Southeastern Conference program. The Central Florida sleeper talked about his recruitment in a Thursday night interview with Rivals.com.
"I have offers from BYU, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and Houston and that's about it I believe," Chambers said.

The Bulldogs have been by to check on the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder during the spring evaluation period.
"Mississippi State has been by," he said. "Maryland also is coming down to check on me."
Chambers has been to Starkville for an unofficial visit.
"It's a real nice school," he said. "They throw the ball a lot and they've got a lot of speed down there."
Chambers also has seen Texas Tech and Houston and added that Florida, Florida State, South Carolina have been showing interest, though they have not offered.
The academic program with regards to his choice of major will be an important part of the decision-making process.
"I'm going to be looking for a good Mathematics program," he said. "I want to be a mathematician. I also want to go to a program that throws the ball the majority of the time."
He plans to camp Texas, BYU and Arizona and Florida this summer.
Recently, Chambers impressed at the Tallahassee NIKE Camp, which was held April 22 on the campus of Florida State.
"It was pretty good," he said. "I saw some of the people I already knew out there. It was a good camp. We did a lot of drills."
