Junior college defensive back Kaleb Chalmers will sign with South Carolina later today and will enroll in Columbia next month, GamecockCentral.com has confirmed.

Chalmers will have three seasons to play three in Columbia.

The Greenwood (South Carolina) product began his career at Clemson after signing with the Tigers in the 2015 recruiting class. He most recently spent time at Northwest Mississippi Community College, tallying 30 tackles, 13 pass breakups, an interception, and a sack.

Chalmers will have three years to play three at South Carolina. Out of high school, the former three-star prospect also carried offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina, Stanford, and Tennessee.
