Chaissons offer list is growing

The offers just keep rolling in for the one of the fastest rising dual-threat quarterbacks in the state. Beaumont (Texas) Westbrook thrower Joe Chaisson has added more offers from all over the country.
Baylor, Indiana, Iowa State, and Tennessee have been joined by Missouri and LSU for Chaisson. With the Tigers involvement, his leaders have been shaken up and the 6-foot-3, 172-pounder has a new list.

"They're in my top three now with Tennessee and Oklahoma," Chaisson said about LSU. "I was really excited (about LSU). I'm real big on them and that's a real honor to get that. All three are great programs and I just love to watch them on television, so I've got a lot that I like about those three schools."
Even with the new offers, Chaisson says recruiting hasn't been too hectic to handle.
"It's smooth right now," Chaisson said. "It's not too much pressure. I'm really enjoying it."
Oklahoma remains the only school in Chaisson's top three that hasn't offered.
"They said that they are real interested," he said about the Sooners. "I'm in the mix for an offer from them but they just haven't come through yet with one."
There will be plenty of time for more offers to come. Chaisson says that he's going to stretch out the process.
"I'll make my decision after football season next year to play out things with my visits," he said. "My next trip will probably be to Tennessee sometime this summer."
Chaisson has visited Oklahoma and also plans to get out to LSU at some point.
