Chaffey prospects sign

The mid-term signing period for junior college players starts today, and it appears that many schools are already starting things off in a big way. For coach Carl Beach at Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Chaffey College, he's got three very impressive players on their way to the Division I ranks.
According to Beach, his three-star rated standout quarterback Nick Davila is expected to ink with Cincinnati today and three-star safety Aleem Harris is headed to New Mexico. Speedy cornerback and safety Dwayne Patterson, however, is still trying to make up his mind between UTEP and Washington State.

"Dwayne is still trying to figure it all out today – it's close right now," Beach said.
His quarterback, 6-foot-3, 195 pound Davila was the heart and soul of the team and looks to be a great pickup for Cincinnati.
"He's a two-year starter and thrown for nearly 6,000 yards," Beach said. "He was all-conference and really just carried us."
Beach says that his other all three players have learned how to succeed at the Division I field on and off the field.
"They've really matured academically and learned how to be students," he said. "I know they're all getting their associate's degree and are ready for the next level. They should all fit in real well where they're going and are definitely quality Division I athletes."
