Central Valley WR picks up steam

Wide receiver Beau Miller (6-1, 180, 4.53) from Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West has seen his hard work in the off-season turn into solid camp performances and improvement in the key area of speed and quickness.
Out of over 500 participants, Miller landed in the top 20 in both the forty yard dash and the shuttle.

On a slick, thick and muddy field at the NIKE Camp held in Palo Alto, Miller ran a all-time best 4.53 in forty and a very impressive, quick 4.09 in the shuttle. His bench is 225, his squat is 385 and he has recorded a 30.1-inch vertical jump.
Besides the NIKE Camp held in Palo Alto, the hard working Miller has camped at both USC and Fresno State.
Miller will also attend another camp at Fresno State with his team in the very near future.
Miller will also participate in many passing league tournaments this summer as he gets ready for his senior season.
Miller is very quick off the line and runs tight, crisp routes. He also makes the catch if the ball is anywhere near him. Miller has a gutsy attitude and isn’t afraid to make the catch over the middle.
As has been mentioned before, Miller is a hard worker. He has worked very hard this season to improve his speed and quickness. And improve, Miller has.
Miller has improved his fort time from 4.68 to 4.53. Remember that his 4.53 was on a wet field.
Miller earned first-team all-league honors after he caught 35 passes or 750 yards and scored eight touchdowns. He averaged 21.4 yards per catch.
Colorado State, Utah, Wyoming, Stanford and Cal all showed Miller interest this spring.
