Central Valley safety lands No. 2

Defensive back/running back Nathan Fellner (6-0, 195, 4.57) from Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West picked up an early offer from Stanford and after a good spring, he picked up his second offer.
"I just received my second offer from San Diego State," Fellner said. "I'm very excited about it. I like the coaches as San Diego State and I like the location."

Oregon has also be showing Fellner a lot of interest and is recruiting the talented two-way player pretty hard of late.
"I've talked to coach John Neal and I email him and stuff," Fellner said. "I also correspond with coach Gary Campbell. I'm going to try and make it to Oregon's football camp."
"I just talked to (Washington assistant) Coach J.D. Williams," Fellner said. "They just wanted to tell me that they are recruiting me and that they think that I'm one of the top safeties on their board. They told me to keep in touch.
"(Cal assistant) Coach Pete Alamar called me last week and told me to come to their camp," Fellner said. "They wanted to see me up close and stuff."
"Coach Jeff Tedford said I had a good camp and that I did a good job and did great work," Fellner said. "Coach (Tedford) told me to stay in touch."
As a junior, Fellner rushed for 454 yards on 76 carries while averaging 6.0 yards per carry and scoring three rushing touchdowns. He also hauled in 19 receptions for 292 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, Fellner racked up 26 tackles, two interceptions and a two forced fumbles.
