CB Wallace gives FSU official a 10

Rivals100 cornerback A.J. Wallace out of Pomfret (Md.) McDonough took his second official visit of the season to Florida State last weekend. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder with 4.4-second speed was very impressed with the Seminoles victory over Syracuse.
"It was a good visit and they have a good school there. I like the campus and everything," he said. "I got there on Saturday and saw the game and then hung out with my host Tony Carter that night. He's a real down to earth guy. I got to see his dorm which is a pretty nice living space and he told me how honest the coaches are there and I felt that way when I talked to them. On Sunday, I met with the academic staff and went to eat and that was about it."

Wallace enjoyed taking in the Florida State victory.
"It was a good atmosphere at Doak Campbell and the defense played really well," he said. "They were upset they didn't get the shutout and that's nice to see because they didn't care that they even had that big lead. The fans there were great too. The war chop is wild.
"On the field, I saw that if I go there I'll have good competition and just going to practice will make me better every day. At Florida State, I'll be playing with the best athletes so when game time comes I'll be used to it."
The four-star cornerback talked to a bunch of the coaches, but his conversation with Bobby Bowden stood out.
"I talked to coach Lilly, Andrews and a few others," he said. "Of course, coach Bowden stood out since I know he's won the most games in college history, that's very impressive. He talked to me specifically about how they wanted me and the fact that they have a lot of Florida guys, but they are looking for the best players and that meant a lot coming from him."
A few weeks back Wallace took an official to Ohio State. How did this visit compare?
"They both have great facilities, but I'd say Ohio State has a better atmosphere since they hold more people and it was just a better game I went to," he said. "Beyond that both of the teams have good fans and a lot of the same things to offer."
The No. 3 cornerback in the country rated his trip to Tallahassee a 10.
"I didn't find any negatives and I got all my questions answered, it was a good trip," he said. "They are on my mind right now since I'm coming off the visit, but I'd say it's pretty even amongst all the schools."
Wallace still plans to take an official to Nebraska on October 28th. For his final two official visits, the No. 3 player in Maryland is looking at a few schools.
A.J. Wallace VideoClick "I'm considering Florida, Miami, LSU, Oklahoma and Tennessee," he said. "Of those I'm really probably looking at Miami and Florida. I know coach Hargreaves is showing a lot of interest and he's a really cool guy. Both of those schools are recruiting me hard. If I do take those visits they'll be sometime in December. As far as a decision, I'm still looking to do it at the U.S. Army All-American game."Here to view this Link.
