CB Walker up to two offers, eyes first visit

Recruiting is picking up for Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson cornerback John Walker. The 6-foot-0, 175-pounder claims a second scholarship and may be on the verge of more.
"He's got one more offer from Indiana along with Northwestern," H.D. Woodson assistant coach Wayne Johnson said. "We're waiting on one other team, Colorado. They haven't offered, but they are getting ready to.

"He's trying to take his first trip to Colorado soon, sometime in October."
Walker is receiving interest from Texas Tech and Kansas as well.
The cornerback transferred to Woodson as a senior this year and has already posted three interceptions.
"We don't like bringing seniors to our school cause of underclassmen, but this is one senior we are glad we got," he said. "He fits the mold of everything we play at corner, he has even been our strong safety at times.
"He plays so fast and is all over the field. John is the fastest guy on the football team."
