Rivals 100 Cornerback Edorian McCullough will begin two-a-days when school starts on August 13th. Looking forward to the first game against Carroll High School, he hopes to repeat as the first team All-District running back and defensive back. Last season he was also the league MVP. Last year, the North Garland Raiders came up short against Plano High School in the first round of the 5A playoffs.
Rated highly nationally as a Cornerback, a position at which he has started since his sophomore season, Edorian claims that he has garnered over 75 offers.
He claims that his top five going into his senior year are Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Miami and Michigan.
While Texas is recruiting him at cornerback, his other favorites are recruiting his as a running back, which is the position that he prefers to play at the next level.
He briefly commented on each of his favorites:
Texas – “I think they’re going to be the team to beat over the next couple of seasons.”
Texas A&M - “They have a good offense and (they) give the fall to the running back a lot.”
Oklahoma – “Being the National Champion doesn’t hurt. They’ll be up there too for the top (position).”
Miami – “I like their offense and they are down South.”
Michigan – “Their offense and they get it to the running back all the time and they let him do what he can do.”
“Texas and Nebraska too” are recruiting him the hardest.
Distance will not be a problem, but what do his parents prefer? “Wherever I want to go, they’ll be happy for me.”
Edorian's toughest individual opponent last season? "Marco Martin is big and almost 300 pounds. Haven't you heard of him?"
