CB Davis cuts list in half

With just a few days to go before Signing Day, the top player in the District of Columbia has cut his list of favorites in half to two schools. Who is Washington (D.C.) Dunbar cornerback Vontae Davis considering and when does he plan to make an announcement?
"I'm down to Michigan State and Illinois," he said. "I'm planning to make my decision on Signing Day. I've been leaning towards the Big Ten a little more because of the atmosphere in that conference and I really can see myself playing there and accomplishing a lot."

What in particular stands out about the two schools to the three-star prospect?
"Michigan State and Illinois both have great coaching staffs," he said. "I really like their atmospheres a lot too since both have really good school spirit and a lot of fan support. Pretty much both schools are the same to me and it's going to be a tough decision."
Davis accounted for eight interceptions and over 1,000 all-purpose yards on offense. He went on to be named D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year and all-conference.
