Cavs or Cats for Georgia OL

One of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake’s star linemen announced his college decision on Monday, and another could be close to going public with his choice.
Rivals100 broke news of Michael Brown’s commitment to Georgia earlier today. Now teammate Courtney Abbott says he’s spending the night discussing his options with his mother.

“Me and my mom are sitting down talking about things right now,” he said. “I should have a decision by tomorrow. I’m trying to decide between Kentucky and Virginia.”
Abbott (6-9, 335, 5.35) made an official visit to Charlottesville this weekend and came away “real impressed” with the Cavaliers’ program. He told Rivals100 upon his return that he was close to committing.
However, he visited Kentucky on Sept. 27 and named the Wildcats his leader at the time.
“They’re both good schools and both of them have a real nice atmosphere,” Abbott said. “I loved the campus at Virginia – all the players and coaches, too. At Kentucky, the fans were amazing. They had a lot of nice facilities. And they think I can come in and help them next year.
“I’m just trying to talk things over with mom to see where she thinks would be best. One thing I want to make sure of is that she can come and see me play every week.
“It’s a hard decision, but I hope to have it done tonight.”
Abbott also has offers from Georgia, LSU, Florida and Florida State.
