The fall of 2009 has been pretty special for Hutson Mason of Marietta, Georgia. This senior signal caller from Lassiter High School has thrown for 4,220 yards and 56 touchdowns already this season. He had seven scholarship offers going into today. Then, the University of Virginia stepped up to the plate.
"Yeah, Virginia offered me today," Mason said. "UVA is a beautiful campus with great academics and I am very excited about the opportunity I have if I choose Virginia. I feel like all my hard work is going to pay off."
Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, UAB, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, and Indiana have also offered Mason. Earlier this fall Mason officially visited Western Michigan.
