Cavs Loss Is Gators Gain

Just when all the Virginia fans were expecting good news from the biggest recruiting weekend of the year, horrible news hits the Cavs.
"Randy called up Al Groh today and de-committed," said Randy Hand Sr. of his son, top-10 offensive tackle Randy Hand. "He's going to take a few days and think it over without any coaches around and then decide."

Hand, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound four-star tackle, has apparently decided that Virginia is too far away.
"Distance has become a big factor," said Mr. Hand. "He visited Florida this past weekend and it looks like staying close to home is what is best right now."
This is a huge blow to the UVA recruiting efforts and is the last thing the Cavs needed when trying to secure the best talent in the state of Virginia. Hand will make an official announcement by the end of the week, but the Cavaliers loss is Florida's gain in this case.
