Cavs lead for Bullock

Going into the Virginia-Wake Forest game two Saturdays ago, linebacker Chase Bullock was torn. The Cavs and Deacs were even at the top of his list. Now, one of the schools has established themselves as his leader.
"Virginia is my favorite right now," said Bullock. "I know the score was close, but Virginia really outplayed Wake Forest. They could have had more points than they did, but just didn't finish. After that game I'd have to say Virginia is my top choice. Wake is still second, but they're behind UVA."

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker from Durham (N.C.) Northern recently helped lead his squad to a victory over Southeast Raleigh, one of the top teams in the state. Who else is he interested in?
"Maryland, South Carolina and Penn State are three others I'm still looking at. They both have strong programs and play in good conferences. All of those schools except Penn State has offered."
Bullock will most likely take an official visit to Virginia when the Cavs host ACC power Florida State in late November, and he plans on visiting Wake Forest when the Deacs play Clemson. He had other nice things to say about Virginia.
"They are a great school, athletically and academically. It's also a great linebacker school. Coach Groh has coached some of the best ever at that position, like Lawrence Taylor. They already have a lot of good linebackers, but they play a 3-4 so more guys get on the field."
