Caveness still looking for first offer

Three-star running back Tyler Caveness out of Roanoke (Va.) North Cross School is still looking for his first offer. Who is eyeing the 5-foot-9, 176-pounder at this time?
"I know Wofford has been talking to my coach," he said. "They may be close to offering. I've sent stuff to James Madison, they want to see my first three games. The same can be said for Princeton, Penn and Richmond."

Caveness hit a number of camps this summer.
"I went to Wake Forest, Duke, Davidson, Wofford and William & Mary," he said. "Duke says they only have 11 scholarships this year and have two guys in front of me. If the other two commit elsewhere, then they will look to me.
"Vanderbilt is also showing interest and they said the same as Duke. They have one ahead of me and it depends what he does."
With interest coming in still, does Caveness like anybody?
"I guess my favorites would be Wofford and Princeton," he said. "I like Princeton cause of the academics and they play Harvard. Wofford has what I want to do. I think I could also go to either and get on the field early. That's what I want to do."
