Cats go to San Diego

The Arizona Wildcats once again go back to the familiar recruiting hunting grounds of San Diego, Calif., in picking up their latest commit, defensive end Jason Parker (6-4, 225, 4.7) from San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay.
Parker is a player with terrific upsides.

Parker early in the recruiting process was getting a long look from USC. But with the onslaught of all the recruits that came to USC, the Trojans went in another direction.
The Wildcats are the lucky team that has landed this talent. The Wildcats had a trump card in this scenario his cousin is former high school teammate and current Arizona defensive end Marcus Smith.
Parker was an all-league selection as a defensive end after racking up 60 tackles and nine sacks.
The versatile Parker also had 38 catches as a tight end.
The Cats win the services of Parker over Washington State, UNLV, San Diego State and San Jose State.
