Cats and Clones top Chalks list
Garland, Texas cornerback Bobby Chalk has trimmed his list to two schools.
“I am pretty much narrowed down to two schools,” the 5-foot-9, 177-pound Chalk said. “Iowa State has offered me a scholarship now and they are right up there at the top.”

The Cyclones are joined at the top of the list by another Big 12 North squad.
“Kansas State is my other favorite. But, I’m still waiting on a scholarship offer from them. But I like them a lot so far.”
Chalk is hoping to get a closer look at both schools during the rest of his summer break.
“I want to go to each of the schools and see the campuses and visit with the coaches a little bit. I want to get a little more familiar with the programs and the teams before fall gets here.”
Chalk is looking for a school that offers him several qualities.
“Obviously I want to have a chance to win. That is important. But, I also would like the chance to get on the field early on in my career. I don’t want to sit around on the bench. I’d rather play. I also want a school that will give me a good education.”
Chalk doesn’t have a deadline set on making a decision.
“I want to take my trips this summer and then see what comes from that. I have some other schools that are recruiting me, but I want to see what happens with these two.”
