Castillo makes a switch to the Big Ten

A few weeks back, 5-foot-10, 158-pound athlete Greg Castillo made a decision to Villanova. The Mt. Laurel (N.J.) St. Joseph's prospect was set on his decision, but today, one day before Signing Day things changed and now he's headed to the Big Ten.
"Actually Iowa offered me early this morning," he said. "Coach Woodson called my coach and he called my dad who pulled me out of class. We talked about it and I decided to commit.

"The thing with them is that they've always been in contact with me. I camped at their place for two years straight and they've always been one of my favorite schools. I told Coach Wilson way before I committed to Villanova that if they offer me I'd commit because I felt so comfortable there."
What does Castillo like about the Hawkeyes?
"It's a great place to go," he said. "It's a great college town and the coaches are great, classy guys. I was talking to the head coach tonight and I felt really comfortable around him. I'm confident in what they are doing over the next couple years."
The two-star prospect could see time as early as this fall for Iowa.
"The coaches told me they see me coming in and as a freshman," he said. "All I have to do is prove it to them by showing them what they saw in me.
"I'm excited and can't wait to get out there."
