Carufel looks forward to Iowa official

Rivals100 offensive tackle Matt Carufel out of St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall is preparing to take his second official visit of the season to Iowa this weekend. Just over a month ago, the 6-foot-5, 280-pounder visited Notre Dame. What does Carufel hope to see out of his trip to Iowa City?
"There's not too much I'm looking for," he said. "I'm just hoping to see my relationship with the coaches and players to see how I relate to them. Beyond that I just hope to have a good time and enjoy myself."

The four-star prospect hasn't scheduled any other official visits, but said they most likely will still be to Florida, Miami and Minnesota.
"I know all of the schools I'm taking official visits to are great football schools and top academic institutions," he said. "My visits will come down to the little things that separate one school from another."
Last week the No. 57 player in the country received an offer from Florida State.
"I told them I have already narrowed down my list and so I wasn't interested," he said. "Obviously they're a very good football school and a great place, but the offer was kind of late in the game and I've narrowed my list already."
The Raiders play in the semifinals this week against Eden Prairie after a big victory last Friday to Anoka/Meadow Creek Christian.
"Our team has a bunch of skill positions and now that we're playing indoors this week at the Metrodome it should be tough for people to stop us," he said. "I'm playing really well too. I'm just looking for the championship this year."
