Carter not a lock like some think

Cornerback Jason Carter of Jenks, Okla., has plenty of friends at Oklahoma - with good friend Kejuan Jones signing with the Sooners last year along with Bobby Klinck and numerous other Jenks players at OU. So everybody assumes that he's a lock for Bob Stoops' OU squad, right?
"A lot of people have said I'm going to go to OU, and I might, but it's not guaranteed like some people think," Carter said.

"I really like them as well as Miami and Tennessee. It's kind of down to those three at this point."
Carter's Jenks' squad is a national top five team and the overwhelming favorite to win Oklahoma's top class again.
"We started our season last Friday and played Ok," he said.
"We played Bixby and played well defensively. We just couldn't seem to get things clicking on offense. I had four carries and caught three balls."
Carter mentioned that playing both ways could play a role in his decision.
