Carroll sets third visit

Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay wide receiver Nolan Carroll has quietly established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the Sunshine State. He has narrowed his list to six schools and is setting official visits.
I moved my Maryland visit to December 17,” Carroll said. “I am taking my visit to Central Florida on December 3 and I have one set to Ole Miss for January 14. I am trying to decide whether I’m going to visit Purdue or Indiana on December 10.”

Carroll burst onto the scene at the Atlanta NIKE camp where he checked in a 6-foot-0, 181 pounds and ran a 4.48 second 40-yard dash and a 4.47 second shuttle. He also has a 30-inch vertical jump.
“Purdue has been recruiting me real hard lately,” Carroll said. “They have not offered yet, but they are waiting to see my senior film and then they probably will. They are in my top six with the others. I am also trying to set up a visit to Louisville.”
As a junior Carroll caught 17 passes for 11 touchdowns, which is a phenomenal number considering the limited amount that his high school team throws the ball.
“This weekend I will be at the Florida-Florida State game,” Carroll said.
