Carroll has change of plans

Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay wide receiver Nolan Carroll had a visit set up with Central Florida this weekend, but rescheduled to visit another school and that fell through as well.
“Well I had a visit set up to Central Florida and they wanted to move that to January,” Carroll said. “So I set up a visit with Indiana this weekend, but since the coach got fired I couldn’t take it this weekend.”

Carroll burst onto the scene at the Atlanta NIKE camp where he checked in a 6-foot-0, 181 pounds and ran a 4.48 second 40-yard dash and a 4.47 second shuttle. He also has a 30-inch vertical jump.
“I have a visit set up to Maryland for December 17, one to Louisville for January 7 and one to Ole Miss for January 14,” Carroll said. “Central Florida wants me to bump my Ole Miss visit and come visit them that weekend, but I’m not going to do that.”
As a junior Carroll caught 17 passes for 11 touchdowns, which is a phenomenal number considering the limited amount that his high school team throws the ball.
“I’m not real sure if I am going to visit Central Florida right now,” Carroll said. “I want to, but they wanted me to move my visit once before and now I am running out of time. They are still on my list so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”
