Carroll has ACC school on top

Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay wide receiver Nolan Carroll has a nice list of offers and has already set two official visits, though it looks as if one of the dates may change.
“I have an official visit set up to Central Florida on December 3 and I have one set up for Maryland on December 10,” Carroll said. “The date for the Maryland visit will probably end up changing though, I’m not sure. I’m also trying to set up visits to Ole Miss, Louisville and Indiana.”

Carroll burst onto the scene at the Atlanta NIKE camp where he checked in a 6-foot-0, 181 pounds and ran a 4.48 second 40-yard dash and a 4.47 second shuttle. He also has a 30-inch vertical jump.
“Right now my top five would be Maryland, Central Florida, Ole Miss, Louisville and Indiana,” Carroll said. “All of them have sent me a written scholarship offer. I have not been able to go to any college games this year so far. I am supposed to be going to a Central Florida and a Florida State game in the next few weeks though.”
As a junior Carroll caught 17 passes for 11 touchdowns, which is a phenomenal number considering the limited amount that his high school team throws the ball.
“I am going to take all of my visits and probably wait until a week or two before signing day to make a decision,” Carroll said. “I just want to be sure to take all of my visits and check everything out. Right now I would say Maryland is No. 1, but Central Florida is real close behind them.”
