Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds offensive lineman Allen Carroll has narrowed his choices to three. He has already visited one of the schools and has one more visit lined up.
Carroll, 6-4, 290 pounds is one of the elite offensive lineman in the West. He's a three year starter and earned all-state underclass honors a year ago.
The talented lineman has already visited Washington and the Huskies made the final cut along with two other Pac 10 schools.
"I'm down to UW, Arizona and Oregon," Carroll said. "I'm going to visit Arizona (Jan 18) and I'm still working on a visit with Oregon. Those are my final three and I'm not looking at anyone else right now.
"My trip to Washington was great. I met a lot of great people, I liked the players and the coaches and the city was nice as well. Willie Griffin, who played here at McClymonds was my host and he really likes it there and if I went to Washington, it would be nice that I already have a friend on the team but that won't be the deciding factor or anything.
"All three of these schools have been recruiting me since the summer and offered me very early in the process. I get along really well with the coaching staffs and I know I can't make a bad choice. My plan is to take my last two visits and then hopefully make a commitment sometime in late January."
