Carrington has some favorites

Darren Carrington had another strong performance at the Oakland NIKE Camp this past weekend and the San Diego (Calif.) Horizon recruit is establishing himself as one of the top wide receivers in California.
That could mean more offers for Carrington, a 6-foot-2, 187-pound prospect who was one of the top prospects regardless of position this past weekend.

Carrington said his top four at this point in his recruitment is Arizona State, Boston College, Arizona and Washington State but he's definitely looking for others.
The San Diego Horizon standout said he hopes to hear more from Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma State and Oregon.
Some of those programs are getting involved with him and Carrington plans to remain patient to see what happens for him.
"I love Arizona," Carrington said. "They throw the ball around and they get it out to everybody.
"I love the coaches from Oregon. It's Oregon. It's a fun place to be. My god brother used to go there and he talks to me about it."
Carrington said since things are just taking off in his recruitment he plans to wait things out much longer to see if he lands more offers.
After his performance at Contra Costa College, there is definitely a good chance things will get much busier for Carrington leading into his senior season.
That's his hope anyway.
"It's really open right now," Carrington said. "I'm going to take all my visits and then find the best fit."
