Carraway claims SEC offer

Wide receiver Vaughn Carraway picked up his seventh offer recently. The offer for the 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is his first from the SEC.
"Tennessee told me they offered on Thursday or Friday," he said. "That is pretty big for me.

"They've got nice warm weather down there and I like their program. I talked to the coaches for a bit and they were telling me how they have a good education."
Carraway holds other offers from Michigan, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Syracuse and West Virginia. Is anyone else close to offering?
"Penn State and Akron appear to be," he stated. "Penn State wants me to get my grades up and I don't know what's up with Akron.
"I'd say right now I don't have any favorites, although I did grow up a fan of Miami. If they showed interest that'd be huge, it would definitely get my attention."
Over this past weekend, the Keystone State prospect took in the Rutgers Nike Camp.
"It was fun," he said. "I did alright, I could have done better. I think I showed the coaches my hand that was the big thing. I still think I could work on my route running and some SPARQ drills."
Carraway is unsure about summer camps, but believes he'll possibly take ones to Pittsburgh or Penn State.
