Carr waits for highlight tape

Rodney Carr is excited because his junior season highlight tape should be finished this week and then there will be mass mailings to coaches across the country.
If the 2014 prospect from Los Angeles Salesian is correct, his recruitment could get much busier from here.

"I have the mid-season highlight tape out and then the final version will be done this week and sent out," Carr said.
"It's very, very big. I think I had a really good season. It didn't end how I wanted it to because we lost in the third round of playoffs but I had a pretty good year and I'm happy about that.
"Coach (D'Vah) Thomas said every single one of my highlight tapes gets sent to at least 50 schools so I'm sure he's going to do the same with this one."
SMU has already offered the 6-foot, 175-pound prospect who finished with 92 tackles this season and interest is coming in from all over the place.
Salesian is loaded with 2014 talent like Carr and four-star standouts Marquis Ware and Jamardre Cobb so colleges are paying close attention.
Carr hopes once his highlight tape is released that many more programs will show him increased interest.
"Since we had just lost I think we had SC by and Arizona, too, and I'm sure there will be a lot more in the weeks to come," Carr said.
"I don't really talk to that many schools. Coach Thomas does all the talking and he tells me what they think of my tape and what they think of me as a person. I can't wait until this highlight tape comes out because I'm very, very excited about it."
