Tyler Carr really emerged on the national scene over the summer at the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge in Dallas and he's sitting with four SEC offers so far.
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt have already come through for the Southside, Ala., four-star offensive tackle and he said some off-season trips will be coming up.
"I'm going down to junior days," Carr said. "I know I'll be visiting down at Auburn for junior day and then it will be all-go from there. I'll be interested in visiting in the schools who are showing me the most interest.
"(Auburn) invited me so I told them I'd be down there. I want to meet with the coaches again."
Carr, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound prospect who had a solid showing last week at the Under Armour Junior Combine, said he doesn't have a frontrunner at this point, nor does he have a dream offer.
For the Southside standout, getting to know the coaching staffs better and deliberately going through the recruiting process seems like the main focus at this point.
"I don't necessarily have a favorite," Carr said. "The four main offers are still my four favorites right now. I don't have a dream offer right now. I'm just trying to go through it and find the right school."
Another reason for no favorite yet is because Carr is getting some serious interest as well. He visited with Nebraska for its bowl practice and Tennessee and Ole Miss have also reached out recently.
