Carr likes taking it to the house
He might not be the biggest receiver in the state of Texas, but when it comes to big plays, not many are bigger than Baytown (Texas) Lee receiver Anthony Carr. The 5-foot-10, 170 pound Carr averages a whopping 11.2 yards a catch and is hoping that type of big-play ability will bring in more college attention.
“I’m the break-away receiver,” Carr said. “I know I’m not the tallest guy out there, but you get me the ball and things will happen. I have the speed, the moves – everything it takes to get that ball into the end zone.”

Carr said he’s starting to pick up more attention from the college coaches. He received early scholarship offers from Utah and Utah State and is also getting calls from Stephen F. Austin and he talked last week with a coach from Kansas State.
“I want to hear from everybody,” he said. “I’m just looking for a right opportunity.”
A right opportunity to take the ball to the house in college.
