Carr deciding over two for first visit

Daunte Carr is now officially de-committed from the Stanford Cardinal. Carr, 6-2 and 198 pounds, is a three-star safety prospect that had to open things back up earlier this week because he still had not been admitted to the university.
"Yeah, it's official," Carr said. "I am de-committed from Stanford. I want to make sure these coaches that I am talking to fully understand where I am coming from and that I am not playing any games. I am back on market and my recruiting is open."

Who are the schools Carr is now speaking with?
"Virginia, UCLA, North Carolina, Maryland, UConn, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Louisville and Ole Miss are the schools I am talking with.
"This weekend I will visit either Kentucky or Maryland. I should know later on this week. I will take all my official visits and more unofficial visits between now and Signing Day."
Carr, from Gainesville, Ga., has some versatility to his game. Some coaches like him as a safety while others see him as a linebacker.
"I am pretty sure I can get to 230 pounds or so. I am 200 now. I don't have a problem with that (playing linebacker). I just want to play ball."
Carr finished with 100 tackles, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries this season.
