Carovillano camping with Big Ten schools

A new offer from Kent State has brought Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier defensive end Nick Carovillano's list to seven schools. He will camp with two Big Ten programs this month in an effort to add to that list.
The first camp Carovillano is set to take part in is at Ohio State this Sunday after the Buckeye's started picking up their interest toward the end of May.

"It has been a little slow the past couple months, but it picked up the past couple weeks," Carovillano said. "They are trying to get me out to camp and I have been speaking to Coach [Kerry] Coombs a lot. I am excited to go up there and tryout for a spot."
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Carovillano will follow up the Ohio State camp with an appearance at Indiana's camp on June 19.
"They stopped by twice over the spring to see workouts," Carovillano said. "They seem pretty interested and I am looking forward to getting up there."
The remainder of Carovillano's offer list includes Boston College, Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Florida Atlantic and Miami (Ohio). He made a visit to Boston College over the spring, and is high on the Eagles.
"Out of my current offers, they are definitely the team to beat," Carovillano said. "I think I am probably going to make my decision before the season starts, but I could drag it out if I am not ready to commit."
